UkaMart Community Standards

Rules for respectful interactions, platform safety, prohibited items, and content integrity across UkaMart.

← All 13 Policies
Official Statement & Application

These Standards describe acceptable conduct on UkaMart Global Ltd (RC1532291) services. They apply to accounts, profiles, listings, Ukaah content, reviews, messages and LIVE where available. They protect legitimate participation while providing a fair route to report and challenge decisions.

1 Purpose and scope

Buyers, sellers, business vendors, creators, affiliates and other users must follow these Standards and the rules for the services they use. A feature's mention here does not activate it or extend Buyer Protection to private transactions.

Accounts require a minimum age of 15. Users aged 15–17 need verified guardian consent and the safeguards in the Privacy Notice. Selling, payouts, Promote and Earn and LIVE hosting require age 18. Adults must not use their accounts to evade restrictions for children.

2 Treat people respectfully

Do not threaten, stalk, harass, bully or organise abuse. Attacks based on ethnicity, religion, nationality, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar characteristics are prohibited. Repeated unwanted sexual contact is prohibited.

Honest criticism, reporting and negative reviews are allowed. Explain the experience without threats or publishing private information. A seller cannot require removal of a truthful review as a condition of resolving an order problem.

3 Sexual content

Pornography, explicit sexual acts, sexual solicitation, sexual deepfakes and non-consensual intimate images are prohibited. Threatening to publish intimate material or demanding money to suppress it is prohibited.

Non-sexual clothing displays, health education, breastfeeding and legitimate artistic or cultural material are assessed in context. Context never excuses child sexual exploitation.

4 Child safety

Never create, request, share, trade or promote sexual exploitation or abuse of children, including synthetic depictions. Grooming, sexualised contact with children and exploitative arrangements are prohibited.

Do not expose a child's home, school or live location, or involve children in dangerous challenges. If you encounter suspected abuse material, report its location without downloading, forwarding or reposting it. We may preserve necessary evidence securely and report to appropriate authorities.

5 Violence and dangerous behaviour

Credible threats, encouragement of violence, violent recruitment and demonstrations likely to cause serious injury are prohibited. Do not promote suicide, self-harm or dangerous challenges or give instructions intended to facilitate them.

Responsible reporting, prevention and recovery discussions may be allowed. Graphic material used to shock or celebrate suffering is not. Do not livestream while distracted from driving or operating dangerous equipment.

6 Fraud and scams

Fake payment alerts, phishing, advance-fee scams, false giveaways, stolen accounts and forged evidence are prohibited. Never ask for another person's PIN, password, card security code or one-time passcode.

Do not manipulate orders, refunds, commissions or rewards. Do not claim a private transfer has UkaMart protection or impersonate support, a payment provider or a delivery agent. A disagreement or unsuccessful claim alone is not evidence of fraud.

7 Impersonation

Do not falsely present yourself as another person, business, public authority or authorised representative. Do not invent verification badges, regulatory approvals or brand authorisation.

Permitted display names must not mislead people. Required identity and transaction information must be accurate. Commentary or fan accounts must make their unofficial status clear.

8 Spam

Do not send bulk unsolicited promotions, irrelevant invitations, malicious links or repeated messages after someone asks you to stop. Duplicate listings, irrelevant tags and repetitive posts designed to crowd out others are prohibited.

A public phone number, a past order or access to seller records is not permission to add a person to marketing lists. Use only lawful, authorised promotion channels.

9 Privacy

Do not publish private addresses, financial information, identity documents, private conversations or precise locations without lawful authority. Doxxing and threats to expose private information are prohibited.

Use transaction data only for the relevant order and lawful support. Do not scrape profiles or collect messages for unrelated targeting. Submit complaint evidence privately, with unnecessary personal data removed.

10 Illegal activities

Do not facilitate trafficking, money laundering, stolen goods, unlawful weapons sales, forged documents or unauthorised system access. Listings and messages must not circumvent product restrictions.

Lawfully discussing or reporting an issue is different from facilitating it. We consider context and evidence, including applicable rights and lawful exceptions.

11 Intellectual property

Upload only content you own, are authorised to use or can lawfully use under an applicable exception. Credit alone is not permission. Counterfeit goods, misleading brand claims and unauthorised copying of product photographs are prohibited.

The designated copyright channel is support@ukamart.com, addressed to the Copyright Notices Officer with the subject “Copyright notice”. Formal notices and challenges follow Document 11, including its statutory deadlines. Trademark complaints use a separate evidence review.

12 Fake engagement

Do not buy or fabricate followers, views, likes, ratings, reviews or referrals. Account farms, bots and coordinated false complaints are prohibited. Reviews must reflect a genuine experience and disclose any material incentive.

Rewards must not require a positive review or conceal a commercial relationship. Do not use fake orders or manipulated attribution to generate earnings.

13 Product related misconduct

Describe the actual product, price, condition, stock, location and warranty honestly. Do not conceal faults, pass used goods off as new, fake a discount or advertise unsafe or prohibited goods.

Commercial relationships must be clear. Use applicable labels such as Affiliate, Sponsored, Gifted product or Seller content. More than one label may be required. A disclosure does not excuse a false claim or a prohibited product.

14 Messaging behaviour

Keep messages lawful, relevant and respectful. Stop unwanted contact; use support for unresolved transactions rather than bypassing a block. Do not pressure buyers to pay outside official checkout or misstate the protections for such payments.

Messages may be scanned for safety indicators and reviewed when necessary under the Privacy Notice. A flag is not proof. Report abuse through available controls or support@ukamart.com.

15 LIVE behaviour

LIVE hosts must be 18 or older and use any required approval process. These Standards apply to hosts, guests, visuals, audio and comments throughout a stream.

Hosts must take reasonable steps to address harmful comments, disclose promotions and avoid unsafe demonstrations. We may interrupt a stream to address urgent risk. LIVE may be unavailable until the required moderation arrangements are in place.

16 Reporting violations

Email support@ukamart.com with the account, listing, content or message reference, the issue and relevant evidence. In-app reporting may also be used where available. Do not circulate illegal material as evidence. Platform support is not an emergency-response service.

We aim to acknowledge within 2 business days and provide an outcome or substantive progress update within 10 business days. Serious safety threats receive priority. We limit disclosure of reporter information, but cannot promise anonymity where law or a fair response requires disclosure.

17 Enforcement

We consider severity, context, impact, evidence and relevant history. Actions may include education, warning, content removal, product removal, feature restriction, commerce restriction, affiliate restriction, temporary suspension or permanent suspension. Serious cases may require immediate action without progressing through every level.

We provide a reason and appeal route where lawful. Final bans, significant restrictions and adverse payout decisions receive human review. Automated flags and the number of reports do not by themselves prove wrongdoing. Financial consequences are assessed separately under the applicable terms; suspension does not automatically confiscate earnings.

18 Appeals

Email support@ukamart.com with “Appeal”, the decision reference, reasons and evidence, ordinarily within 30 calendar days of notice. We consider late appeals where access failed, notice was not received or significant new evidence emerges. Copyright statutory challenges follow Document 11 instead.

We acknowledge within 2 business days and aim for a reasoned human-review outcome within 10 business days. If more time is needed, we explain the outstanding issue and provide a progress update at least every 10 business days. Reviewers may uphold, change or reverse the decision and correct records where appropriate.

Good-faith appeals do not attract punishment. You may request escalation to the Trust and Safety Lead or approach a competent regulator or court without first completing our internal process.

For these service targets, business days mean Monday to Friday excluding Nigerian public holidays. Calendar days include weekends and holidays. Any shorter mandatory legal deadline takes priority.
