These Terms explain payments and the accounting records for orders, seller proceeds, affiliate earnings and rewards on UkaMart Global Ltd (RC1532291). They do not establish a bank account, deposit product, general-purpose wallet, escrow arrangement or insurance. Official checkout supports only Paystack and transfers to UkaMart’s designated bank account. This document explains the agreed order-specific collection and payout process.
1 Payment processing
The only checkout options are Paystack and bank transfer to UkaMart Global Ltd's designated account displayed within official checkout. Checkout identifies the seller, order reference, amount and currency. Paystack processes payments through its route and settles the funds to UkaMart. Direct transfers reach UkaMart's designated company bank account.
For UkaMart retail sales, payment buys goods supplied by UkaMart. For marketplace sales, UkaMart collects payment as the seller's limited collection agent under the Seller Agreement and holds it pending the release process below. Once the official route confirms receipt for the order, the buyer's obligation is discharged to that extent; internal settlement issues do not require payment twice.
We verify payment against provider or bank records. A screenshot, debit alert or private seller message alone does not prove receipt. Contact support about missing references or delayed status before making a second payment.
Payment acknowledgement is not seller acceptance. The sale forms when the named seller accepts and UkaMart sends the explicit “Order confirmed” notice. That event is different from the buyer's later acceptance of the delivered product. Collected money for an unaccepted order is returned through the refund process.
2 Receipt of funds and payment roles
UkaMart Global Ltd receives the funds settled by Paystack and funds transferred directly to its designated account. For marketplace orders, UkaMart retains the received funds pending buyer acceptance or a documented release or dispute decision and records the seller entitlement. UkaMart initiates seller and earnings payments by bank transfer to the verified payee account. The bank or payment reference identifies the transfer used; Paystack's checkout role does not mean it necessarily executes every payout.
UkaMart is responsible for the amounts it owes under the applicable agreement, subject to lawful transaction adjustments. A marketplace seller remains responsible for its sale and reimbursement obligations. Approved refunds are administered by UkaMart under section 16. Provider processing terms do not remove UkaMart's own promises or mandatory duties.
The seller fee schedule and affiliate offer identify the applicable rate, calculation base, currency, taxes and any transfer charge before acceptance. Undisclosed fees do not apply. The account-holder name and account details for direct payment must be obtained from official checkout, not a seller's message.
This is an order-specific collection and settlement arrangement. These Terms do not offer deposits, interest, user-to-user transfers, a general-purpose wallet or a regulated escrow service. They do not claim a payment licence or a provider approval that has not been granted.
3 Card and payment details
Payment authentication occurs through the authorised provider route. UkaMart does not store PINs, card security codes or OTPs. It processes necessary transaction references, amounts, statuses and verified refund or payout details. The Privacy Notice explains the actual data handling.
Never send payment secrets to support, a seller or a creator. We may verify account ownership using a lawful provider process; we do not ask you to give us your banking password.
4 Order payments
Check the price, seller, delivery charge and total before authorising payment. Report duplicate or unrecognised debits promptly. Do not pay a second time solely because a status update is delayed; ask support to reconcile the first attempt.
If an order cannot be accepted or supplied, the relevant cancellation and refund rules apply. Cash or a private transfer outside the official order route is not brought within Buyer Protection by this document.
5 Seller proceeds
Seller proceeds are the order amounts payable to the seller after disclosed fees, lawful taxes, approved refunds, chargebacks and justified adjustments. UkaMart retains received order funds while delivery and acceptance remain pending. A buyer complaint pauses the affected release while the issue is assessed; a complaint alone is not a finding against the seller.
The buyer is asked to confirm receipt and product acceptance or report a problem within 7 calendar days after actual delivery. If the buyer remains silent, UkaMart manually reviews delivery evidence and unresolved complaints before deciding whether to release payment. Silence is not automatic acceptance. We record and communicate the release decision and preserve later valid consumer and warranty claims.
UkaMart initiates seller payout within 2 business days after buyer acceptance or a documented release decision, subject to a justified hold. The bank's completion time is separate and the payout record shows the reference and status. A provider delay is explained and followed up rather than recorded as completed payment.
The seller remains liable for its remedies after payout. UkaMart processes approved buyer refunds and may recover seller-responsible amounts under Document 6. There is no arbitrary reserve or general confiscation of proceeds.
6 Affiliate earnings
Estimated, pending, confirmed and available commissions follow Document 9. A dashboard estimate is not a final payout entitlement. Commission adjustments for partial refunds are proportionate to the eligible base, using the actual offer's allocation.
7 Referral rewards
A reward arises only from an expressly published offer and completed qualifying action. The offer distinguishes cash from non-cash benefits, states limits and explains when any reward becomes available. No downline investment or chance-based reward scheme is created here.
8 Promotional credits
Promotional credits are non-cash discounts governed by the offer that grants them. They cannot be topped up, transferred to another user, withdrawn as cash or sold under these Terms. The offer identifies permitted use, expiry and cancellation or refund treatment before acceptance.
Credits are shown separately from money payable. A cash refund is not converted into promotional credit without free agreement. Credits do not justify describing the service as a deposit account or savings product.
9 Pending amounts
Pending means the applicable release conditions remain incomplete, such as delivery, reconciliation, a commission qualification period or a specific dispute. We identify the reason category and next relevant step where lawful.
A pending label does not remove a valid underlying claim. Once the conditions are satisfied, the record must be updated; repeated relabelling cannot justify indefinite delay.
10 Available balance and provider failure
Available balance is an accounting total of transaction-related amounts released for payout under the accepted schedule, net of recorded lawful adjustments. It is not a general-purpose stored-value facility: it cannot be topped up, transferred between users, used as savings or spent as a wallet under these Terms.
The displayed total does not itself establish a bank deposit, proprietary trust interest, ring-fencing, deposit insurance or priority over creditors. If UkaMart or a provider becomes insolvent, recovery and priority depend on who legally owes and holds the funds, applicable law and the actual arrangements disclosed in the payment schedule. Recovery may be delayed or incomplete; these Terms do not promise protection that has not been established.
A restriction in the ledger does not by itself determine ownership of underlying money. UkaMart holds the received funds pending release and owes the payable seller or earnings amount under the relevant agreement. These Terms do not establish a trust or preferential insolvency status. A label or disclaimer does not change the legal character of the actual arrangement.
11 Withdrawal and payout
Available monetary amounts are payable to the verified recipient bank account. Seller payouts follow the 2-business-day initiation rule in section 5. Affiliate payouts follow Document 9's weekly cycle: amounts available by Sunday at 23:59 West Africa Time are initiated by the following Friday, or the next Nigerian business day when Friday is a public holiday. Referral cash rewards follow the expressly accepted offer; if it gives no separate cycle, the weekly cycle applies.
There is no standard minimum payout threshold. Any campaign-specific threshold or transfer charge must be disclosed and accepted before participation; without that disclosure no payout charge is deducted. On closure, valid residual amounts are settled through the same cycle once required checks and justified adjustments are complete.
We provide a payout reference and distinguish initiation from receipt. We do not mark a queued transfer as completed. Material bank-detail changes may require additional verification before payment, with notice and review of any related hold. Balances cannot be transferred between users or spent as a wallet.
12 Verification and financial crime controls
We verify eligibility and payee identity proportionately, including name matching and relevant business and tax records. BVN, NIN or other checks, where required, must use an authorised lawful route. We may request evidence explaining a mismatch rather than pay an unrelated account without authority.
Suspicious patterns, sanctions or other legally required controls may justify additional review or reporting. We disclose what we lawfully can without prejudicing an investigation. No payment-secret request is part of these checks.
13 Transaction history
Records distinguish order amount, fees, taxes, adjustments, refunds, commission states, holds and payouts. We provide relevant references and reasons, subject to privacy and lawful disclosure limits. Retain your records and report errors; our ledger is not declared conclusive against reliable contrary evidence.
14 Failed payments and reversals
Report the order, provider reference, amount and time to support@ukamart.com. We trace the result with the provider and bank. A pending reversal is different from a merchant refund following an accepted sale.
We acknowledge within 2 business days and escalate a failed or disputed payment to the provider promptly, with a target of 1 business day after receiving enough information to identify it. Applicable CBN and provider channel-specific reversal deadlines govern; our service targets do not extend them. We tell you the deadline applicable to your case and the next escalation point rather than applying one generic merchant-refund period to every failed payment.
15 Duplicate payments
We reconcile each reference, distinguish duplicate debit from duplicate order, and arrange return of a verified duplicate through the lawful route. We do not force a second product or promotional credit in place of repayment. Do not seek repayment twice for the same duplicate.
16 Refunds and partial settlements
UkaMart processes approved refunds for eligible orders paid through official checkout, whether the original payment used Paystack or a verified transfer to UkaMart's designated account. Documents 3 and 4 govern eligibility, evidence, product disposition and remedy. The responsible seller owes its share under Document 6; UkaMart recovers that amount separately rather than requiring the buyer to wait for future seller sales or voluntary repayment.
UkaMart initiates an approved refund within 2 business days of final approval, or sooner if law requires. We provide the reference, method and applicable bank or provider posting estimate. Paystack payments are ordinarily returned through the original provider route. Direct bank transfers are ordinarily returned to the original payer's verified account. If that route is unavailable, we explain and agree a lawful verified alternative.
Partial settlements record the issue, amount, UkaMart's processing role, the seller's applicable liability, method, deadline, product disposition and affirmative acceptance by buyer and seller. We close only the performed part and adjust seller proceeds and any related product commission proportionately. Mandatory rights and unrelated claims are not waived.
We reconcile any parallel chargeback or reimbursement to prevent duplicate recovery. A refund instruction that fails or remains queued is not marked completed. Payment-processing costs borne by UkaMart are not automatically deducted from a buyer's legally due refund.
17 Reversals deductions and recovery
An evidenced refund, chargeback, duplicate credit, fee or lawful tax adjustment may change an amount payable under the applicable accepted agreement. We give the affected transaction, amount, reason and evidence summary before deduction where lawful and ordinarily allow 5 business days to challenge. An approved buyer refund, urgent provider action or law may require earlier adjustment, followed by notice as soon as lawful and a continuing opportunity to challenge. A seller challenge does not automatically postpone a buyer remedy already due.
Seller debts may be set off against sums due under Document 6. Commission overpayments may be recovered from future earnings within Document 9's correction rules. External bank debits require separate authority. No duplicate recovery, unrelated penalty or confiscation is authorised.
An error is corrected with an itemised record. The applicable agreement governs any justified shortfall demand and a genuine dispute receives human review.
18 Fraud holds
An ordinary hold is limited to the amount reasonably linked to the disputed transaction or evidenced risk, for up to 30 calendar days. An authorised reviewer reassesses it at least every 7 calendar days. We release unaffected undisputed money unless a specific lawful reason justifies broader restriction.
A court or regulator direction, provider restriction or documented ongoing investigation may require a longer hold. Where lawful, we state the amount, reason category, case reference, information needed and next review date. We continue periodic review and release promptly when the basis ends; “under investigation” alone is not an indefinite extension without evidence.
Final adverse payout decisions receive human review. A hold does not itself settle beneficial ownership or create a trust; the actual legal position follows section 10 and the verified payment arrangement.
19 Account restrictions
Suspension does not automatically extinguish payment or refund rights. Users retain a support route and may request a statement and review. Legal orders, verified debt and transaction-specific restrictions are assessed separately from a platform ban.
20 Errors
Report apparent calculation, status, fee, payout or tax errors promptly with relevant references. We acknowledge within 2 business days and aim to provide a result or substantive update within 10 business days, subject to any shorter applicable legal deadline.
A corrected statement explains what changed and why. We do not silently rewrite a settled transaction or require you to waive unrelated rights to obtain a correction.
21 Complaints and appeals
Contact support@ukamart.com with “Payment complaint”. Appeal an adverse decision ordinarily within 30 calendar days; reasonable late submissions are considered. A human reviewer aims to respond within 10 business days after receiving the appeal, with substantive updates at least every 10 business days if needed.
You may also use the payment provider's complaint process, the relevant financial regulator, the FCCPC or a competent court without completing our internal process first. These Terms do not restrict chargeback or other legal rights. Privacy enquiries go to privacy@ukamart.com.
For these service targets, business days mean Monday to Friday excluding Nigerian public holidays. Calendar days include weekends and holidays. Any shorter mandatory legal deadline takes priority.
